Can CST Be Harmful?
No, the session is completely directed by the client’s own body, is non-invasive and therefore cannot cause damage.
How Does CST Work?
Our body’s self healing system is built into everyone’s body. Like a bulb running out of power and getting dim, we sometimes need some extra strength to get it back to “shining bright”. This is where the CranioSacral Therapist with their light, but bright, touch comes in.
Is CST Painful?
No, CST allows the client’s body to choose it’s own path to healing so no force or manipulation is ever used.
How Many Appointments Does It Take To Help The Body Fix Itself?
Healing time is very individual. Sometimes healing comes in the first session and other times a client might need multiple sessions over a period of time to complete the process.
Does CST Have Any After Effects?
It is not unusual for clients to feel fatigued afterward. Because the CST session often causes the body to realign itself there may be some slight
soreness for up to 24 hours after.
How Is CST Different From Chiropractic Therapy?
Because CST involves no manual manipulation there is no possibility of a client flinching and thereby changing an intended adjustment. It is not invasive. Therefore, there is no discomfort during the session and the positive effects of the session tend to continue increasing for 24 to 72 hours afterward.
