CDM has made a big difference in my husband’s life! After suffering a serious stroke he was left with very little use of his right leg and no use of his right arm. He also lost his ability to speak, read and write. After the usual round of therapies didn’t work and Ray was extremely depressed we came to Cathie and CDM. His right leg now is stronger. He is much more active than before. Almost miraculously, has started to get feeling in his right arm and has achieved some movement. His disposition has improved 100% because he can see the progress he’s making. His comprehension and involvement in day to day life has increased as well. CDM has made a big difference in his life!!

I came to Cathie for Pilates instruction because of pain after open heart surgery. The pain had worsened as the years passed and even the chiropractor couldn’t relieve it.
After taking Pilates and receiving CranioSacral treatments with Cathie I no longer have back problems. In fact , my health has improved rather than deteriorated during the six years I have been with her. And that is continuing to happen even though I’m in my late seventies.

I feel Pilates has toned and sculpted my body. I love Pilates because it makes me feel stronger physically and it gives me a much better mental attitude. Pilates has relieved physical conditions for me which otherwise may have required medical attention.

I have been seeing Cathie for more than 10 years. When I first came, my muscle tone was probably comparable to a noodle. Now, my muscles are greatly improved as has my posture through body awareness and easier mobility. Through better posture I have fewer body aches and headaches. Pilates is the only exercise program I have stayed with because my body feels so much better. If I happen to miss my session for some reason my body quickly reminds me to get back as soon as possible.

If you really want to make 70 feel like the “new 50” you have to get back in touch with your body. The best way to do this is to find a knowledgeable instructor who is determined that each of her clients learns how to awaken those muscles that probably retired when you did, and make them function as they once did and maybe a little bit better. That is what I found at CDM Healthy Body. I know it works because at 75, I learned how and I’m still going strong.

Cathie McCue really knows the body structure and after taking her Pilates classes you will know your body too. She will help you identify your problem areas and teach you how to correct them. You may just find you have a whole new body lying hidden inside of you. Make no mistake, you will need to do the work to find it, but it will be well worth the effort!!

As a 65 year old male, I was looking for a program that would increase my flexibility. Since attending my Pilates sessions that has happened. I also have the added benefit of no more chronic shoulder pain.
I would highly recommend Cathie as a very knowledgeable and caring personal trainer.

A friend recommended Cathie as a Pilates instructor. I had severe sciatic pain in my right leg after a mishap. Chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy failed. After doing Pilates for 8 weeks the pain was gone. Several months later, after suffering with an atrophied knee for 12 years, my leg straightened totally. I have been given a quality of life I didn’t think I would ever have again.

Not only does Cathie know Pilates inside – out, but the attention she gives her students while in class – and out when questions arise – is something I have not experienced in any exercise or equipment class I have previously taken. Breaking down the movements step by step, more importantly, describing the muscle groups involved in each movement truly help to understand the how and why of Pilates. Exercise and anatomy class all in one!!
